Now in its second year, the 30A YOLO Bike & Beach Club brings together locals and visitors of all skill levels for fun and laid-back exploration of South Walton’s natural habitats.
Group bike rides are free and take place every Saturday.
Participants meet at the YOLO Bike + Beach Store in Gulf Place at 8:30 a.m, then the ride through the trails of Point Washington State Forest departs at 9 a.m. All skill levels and bike brands are welcome (“ride what ya got!”). Bikes are available for rent.

Jeff Archer, CEO of YOLO Board, and Mike Ragsdale, founder of The 30A Company, came up with the idea for the club.
“We wanted to bring together a fun group of people who enjoy taking advantage of everything that South Walton has to offer,” said Archer. “It’s a really laid-back chance to hang out with old friends and to make new ones.”
“Some days we explore nature trails, some days we do a pub crawl or cafe tour; whatever the club wants to do,” said Ragsdale.
New adventures are being added this year, so there will be club activities every day, including social paddles, beach bonfires, yoga classes, pub crawls (bikes rides) and more, many of which will be free to anyone interested.Photo by Shane Sauerevents calendar for weekly meeting dates, times and details, as well as YOLOboardAdventures.com.
